Details of Sunday Services

Please note that St James is a Forward in Faith Parish, under the pastoral care of the Bishop of Beverley. This means that the Church Council has passed the three resolutions, allowed by the General Synod, which prevent it accepting the Sacramental Ministry of ordained women. All may rest assured that women are happily involved in all other aspects of our church's life!

8.00am Holy Communion (Book of Common Prayer/Common Worship Order 2)

10.00am Parish Mass (Common Worship Order 1).
(On the first Sunday each month the Mass is less formal, with children in mind)

SUNDAY SCHOOL every Sunday morning begins at 10:00am

Book of Common Prayer Evensong is at 6:30pm

Mid-Week Services

Every Wednesday at 9:30am - Said Mass
First Saturday each month at 9:30am - Healing Mass (Guild of St. Raphael)
Third Saturday each month at 9:30am - Walsingham Mass
Saints Day and other Festivals as announced

VISITORS TO OUR CHURCH ARE ESPECIALLY WELCOME AND FREE TO JOIN REGULAR WORSHIPPERS FOR A CUP OF COFFEE AFTER THE 10AM MASS.
